Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, starting with NASA as well as the Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of Space Tourism. Being the child of 2 NASA astronauts Kristin grew up in the space industry and spent the last five years covering the Trump and Biden Administration's space policies as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. In that period, she also covered impeachment trials for the president and the presdiential 2020 campaign, as well as two administration's efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip.
